New arrivals at The Free Economy Institute

Today, the library of The Free Economy Institute has replenished with a book by Joseph A. Schumpeter, "Theory of Economic Development. Investigations of Income, Capital, Credit, Interest, and the Economic Cycle".

In the annotation to the book says:

"This book of Joseph A. Schumpeter refers to outstanding works from economic theory and in its significance stands together with the main works of Adam Smith, Karl Marx, Leon Walras, Alfred Marshall, John Keynes." The translation into Ukrainian was made for the first time, although the book was issued 100 years ago and was written mainly during the teaching activities of Joseph A. Schumpeter at the University of Chernivtsi. The fundamental methodological discoveries made in it have acquired particular relevance today, when all developed countries actually build their strategy of economic development according to the Schumpeterian recipes. Without familiarizing yourself with this classic work, it is difficult to adequately understand the essence and mechanism of the innovative model of economic growth, the goals, content and tools of the policy of forming a knowledge economy. Much of this book provides keys to understanding the underlying nature of the current financial and economic crisis".
